The term cloud refers to an external site where a whole data center can be stored to access all the information in it via the Internet.


First, it is important to know the difference between public and private cloud to understand what the best option for us is.

The private cloud is a model used by a single organization with its own resources, such as a data center, storage racks or networks.
The public cloud, on the other hand, implements cloud computing for various organizations, and they use it through a set of networks, storage and data processing that fit their particular needs.

For many people it is an unknown tool even though the global trend is to work in the cloud.
Companies that do not bet on making use of cloud computing, do not do so because they do not trust to deposit in this tool all their data and information. However, it is necessary that at this point in the development of cloud computing, people understand that the degree of confidence of the private cloud is high. And that, in addition, is controlled directly by the user.

It is appropriate to mention some data to understand why upload to the cloud.
Until 2002, human civilization had consumed 5 exabytes of data, in a course of 18 thousand years. How much does 5 Exabytes equal? In simple terms, there are 167 million 32GB USB's.

20 years ago, I understood the importance that the cloud would have, so when I was very young I began to design what is considered the first commercial cloud on the planet based on a blockchain network. In a nutshell the first decentralized cloud.

It is complex to explain the cloud, many people get confused and those confused people not only refuse to use it, but even create technology opposed to the trend.

A while ago I watched a television program of investment sharks, a boy arrived with a home server so he wouldn't have to use the cloud. What surprised me most was that CONACYT financed its project, even though it goes against the trend.

Facts like the one mentioned above no longer happen, nor will they happen in Mexico, since there is no destination budget to finance the development of true technology. The current Mexican government has established a macroeconomic policy that excludes financing for entrepreneurs.

Too bad because in Mexico there is plenty of talent, a lot of creativity and passion; few people know that Mexican programmers are considered the best in the world, because of this talent, many Mexicans work in the big corporations of the planet. There are many Mexicans developed the cloud. Mexico is a very important market for her.
Currently the cloud is already present in many aspects of our life, although some do not realize it.

So, when someone recommends migrating something to the cloud, do not think about it, this is the right time since it still does not increase its cost by the expected 1000%.
Soon, all devices, whether laptops, computers, tablets, phones, televisions, screens, cars, etc., will consume the cloud more and more every day; This is an imminent reality.

By way of analogy it can be said that those who refuse to use the cloud, it is as if they asked Netflix to make their catalog of movies available on DVD’s or Spotify to record the music on CDs. Throughout the process of migrating to the cloud, the flopy was replaced by the CD, the CD by the DVD, the DVD by the USB, the USB by the cloud. We still don't know what will replace the cloud, but something is certain, it won't be a USB, or an SSD. In this regard, I was recently surprised by a technological advance that they made in Canada: last year they managed to transfer a person's “consciousness” to the cloud.

In this century there are toys that can be controlled with the power of the mind, an example of this is that at CES, an event that is held every year in Las Vegas, a device was presented that allows you to control a video game only with thoughts, without use your hands

In these years, virtual and augmented reality achieve more and more surprising things, and what about robots, of artificial intelligence. Nowadays, marketing already uses artificial intelligence; you enter free market or Amazon and if you looked for boots, the following weeks you will see in social networks, Marketplace and search engines, offers and articles that are related to the boots; If you bought them, they will tell you to buy a bag that matches. Fintech are constantly growing. Mexico is number 1 in Latin America in Fintech, I have personally tried at least 5 virtual banks, which are wonderful. They have cutting-edge technology and simple methods to register, request a selfie and send an identification; later an algorithm compares the biometrics of the selfie with the identification.
